ECU Career Services offers a variety of options for employers to Connect with students & alumni while expanding their brand on campus. To effectively market employer events, Career Services requires that all employer engagement requests be submitted for approval by September for the fall semester and February for the spring semester. Any request for recruiting efforts made after the above deadlines, will not be guaranteed. Our Employer Engagement Calendar, provides a list of currently available dates.     Interviews

    Career Services is especially considerate of the interview process and is able to accommodate interview space during Career Fairs, the day after Career Fairs as well as other opportune times that fit your organizations hiring timeline. If you are interested in securing interview space, please contact Lynn Copeland, Recruiting Program Specialist at 252-328-6050 or copelandl17@ecu.edu and she can further discuss availability.

    Information Sessions

    Information Sessions allow employers the ability to discuss their organizations current job/internship/Co-Op opportunities in an interactive environment, to a targeted student population. These sessions are typically scheduled for 60-minute intervals and are focused on key aspects of the employers’ organization; values, culture, mission, and possible career opportunities. Marketing for Information Sessions consists of a multiple approaches that include multimedia efforts, an email campaign and targeted marketing to specific student populations.


    Virtual Recruitment

    Organizations interested in connecting with students and alumni in a virtual format have the opportunity to host a live or recorded webinar that will be posted on Career Services website. ECU Career Services is able to provide individualized consultation from marketing all the way through to implementation.


    On-Campus Employer Engagement

    From Mock Interviews to Etiquette Dinners, Career Services strives to create unique networking opportunities for students and employers.


    Classroom Presentations

    Classroom presentations will be reviewed and presented to departments and faculty on a case-by-case basis. Requests should be made with the intention of aligning presentation materials with in-class curriculum.


    Student Organizations

    East Carolina University has over 800 student organizations on campus and Career Services can provide the resources your organization needs to connect.
