We offer many programs and services, which are highlighted here for ECU Alumni.  Career Services prides itself on its “high tech, high touch” model, using state of the art technology to make information available and processes easy for you as an alumni while providing service.

Scheduling An Appointment

ECU Career Services provides counseling services to alumni up to six months after graduation.

To schedule an appointment login to Handshake and select “Appointments” under the Career Center tab from the homepage. Drop-In Hours are available Monday-Friday from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM while classes are in session at the main office located at 701 East 5th Street. They are not available on campus breaks and state holidays. Drop-In Hours for the Summer are Monday-Friday from 10:00 AM – 1:00PM.  Resume samples by college are available to all ECU students and alumni.

Online Resources

Handshake is an exclusive job and internship database for all ECU students and alumni. This system allows you to access job and internship opportunities, upload various documents, learn about upcoming events and sign up for on campus interviews.

Alumni that graduate after May 2018 have Handshake accounts and can utilize their PirateID and passphrase to access Handshake here.

Alumni before May 2018 will need to request a Handshake account. To request an account click here.

A self-paced career guidance tool designed to help select the right area of study, explore various career options, and provide valuable occupational information.

Interviewing.com is a software that allows you to utilize a home webcam and computer or tablet to conduct and customize practice interviews. You can then generate a link of your interview to share with others for their review.
